It kills me to be the bearer of bad news on this one...but a friend who is very close to the higher-ups at ABC told me today: "Once and Again is dead, dead, dead," and that the rumors of it being saved are "completely bogus." Still, I'm not closing the case until ABC announces its fall schedule in a few weeks. I sent along the rescue letter from this week's column with more of your commentary, so keep those fingers crossed that they'll offer a miraculous change of heart.
